We would recommend 6th Gear to everyone

I just wanted to get in touch to say what a fantastic day my husband and godson had on Friday 27th October. From the time we arrived to book in everyone was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble, the guys out with the cars took time to answer questions from all of us about the cars which was great for my 2 boys aged 11 and 6 who had come to watch their dad. I think we are all now addicted and will definately be back. once again thank you so much for a truly fantastic day we would recommend 6th Gear to everyone.

Hi guys,

I would just like to say a big thank you for everyone that made me feel welcome at Elvington on Saturday. I was in the Atom and at no point did instructor hold me back in fact he was actively encouraging me to push harder which is a refreshing change.

I have a feeling this is going to turn into an expensive hobby.

Just a quick email to thank you for a fantastic driving experience at the weekend. I bought a Ferrari experience for my boyfriend & he loved every minute of it.

The whole day was very well organised and the instructors were great. The only down side is that it was over too quickly! I guess I now know what to buy for future birthdays & xmas gifts!

my parents and I would like to say thanks

Hi, my parent's and I would just like to say thank you very much for the excellence of the driving experience at Longcross. It was for my 18th birthday and really exceeded my expectations and was 100 times more fun that I had expected. I was nervous at first that I wouldn't know what to do and would make myself look a fool but you're instructors were great and really helped me get the most out of my day. My dad was especially pleased with the level of professionalism, friendliness and organisation.

Once again thanks a lot and I am sure you will hear from me again or some of my mates, your friend Danny.

PS. I have started saving for my own Lamborghini Gallardo............ha-ha

Good experience

Good experience, if you're looking for an all out track day experience this is not the experience for you. However if you're looking for a fun speed blast and first experience of driving a supercar this is the one. Great instructor who let me put foot down and really feel power of the car. The cars themselves are a bit dated on the inside, but really you don't do this for the interior but to experience the engine. I have been twice and unfortunately if you get a wet or foggy day you're experience will suffer as you obviously can't drive too fast due to poor conditions. All in all a good experience, goes by really fast so buy more laps rather than less

Really don't understand the negative reviews? I went on the Aston Martin DBS Single Super Car Thrill at Bruntingthorpe. I absolutely loved every minute. The car was fantastic to drive and the track was great! I really got to give it a boot full! I was concerned that I'd be pootling around but it was fantastic to actually experience what the car could do. My partner and I were also able to do passenger rides on the day in a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 which was excellent. Much faster than the Aston but the Aston made the better noise! Would certainly recommend.

I've tried other Supercar driving experiences before (and have been unimpressed and to be honest felt a bit ripped-off), but nothing comes close to the service offered by 6th Gear. All of the staff, from driver registration to in-car instructor, were friendly and professional, making the whole experience an absolute joy. If you're looking to try a Supercar experience, I would thoroughly recommend booking through 6th Gear. This was one Birthday treat I won't forget in a hurry.

Just a quick note to thank 6th gear for a fantastic day at Elvington Airfield, York on Sunday. I had chosen to drive the Aston Martin which was amazing but also drove the Ferrari 360. I had such fun, I can't wait to book another drive.

Hi, Would just like to say a big thanks to Derek, my instructor for the Aston Martin DB9, who gave me a 96% pass (move over, Lewis, I want your job!!!) What a rush, I had an absolutely brilliant time and will definitely be doing it again. It was the best thing I have done in a long time. Got some fantastic photos and the photos from the professional on the day were excellent value for money and superb quality.

The look on our sons face was absolutely priceless when we pulled up outside Elvington and told him he was going to drive a Ferrari! he loved it and couldn't stop smiling and I don't think we can ever beat the experience he had, it was amazing.the staff at 6th gear treated our 12 year old with the utmost courtesy and professionalism and we have recommended 6th gear time and time again!

Nurburg watch out.

Just wanted to say thanks to Andy and the Team at Bruntingthorpe for a great days driving on Sunday. The whole set up was far better than others I've been to. The instructors were great and I really enjoyed being able to put my driving skills to the test safely without worrying about speed camera's traffic or the boys in blue.

It was all over too quickly though, I could easily get hooked.

Nurburg watch out. Hope to do it again soon.

BRILLIANT!

I have just discovered this testimonial feature on the site but i just wanted to say, i had a junior driving experience in may and it was absolutely amazing!!! I drove an Aston Martin DB9 and although on paper it doesnt sound that quick, it was, i tell you it was very quick! I was a bit nervous at first but it was worth every single penny!! If you are looking at a junior driving experience, dont hesitate, its worth it!

Just a quick message to say me and my girlfriend Christina both had an amazing Lamborghini thrill at Elvington today.

The instructors were fantastic and very helpful with their expert tuition, always trying to get you driving faster each lap. Still all adrenaline fuelled up we both had a hot lap in the Aventador as well, which was just fantastic.

Junior Lamborghini

Just come back from Elvington where my 15 year old son has just had his first drive in a Lamborghini, what can i say he loved it, could not stop smiling, would definately do it again for him, only thing is now he is wanting us to buy one for him.
I would recommend to purchase the memory stick to record the on board camera action , something to remember in years to come,
100% would recommend to buy for kids
