Goodwood Circuit

Goodwood:

Goodwood is a historic venue for two and four wheeled motorsport events in based near Chichester, West Sussex and is on the estate of Goodwood House. The racing circuit began as the perimeter track of RAF Westhampnett airfield, which was constructed during the Second World War. At Goodwood, there isn’t just the one circuit, and experiences are run across the whole Estate. Much like us, they also offer experiences for junior drivers. We offer these experiences at our track in Chertsey, Longcross Proving Ground. The two tracks are an hour and a half apart from each other, with a short journey down the A3. With Longcross Proving Ground not being a race circuit, it appears to lack the wide run off areas in converted airfield. However, what you do find is a technical track that offers a range of sweeping bends, a mini Nurburgring with hills and fast straights; it offers a range of challenges for both vehicles and drivers. Longcross also have an area for Juniors to enjoy driving a range of Supercars in a safe and well controlled environment. Make the journey more worthwhile by taking up the change to “Pay and Drive” on the day…who can resist extra laps in a Supercar? Also Longcross have many local attractions nearby, including Thorpe Park just a 14 minute drive on the B386.
