Driveme.net Terms and Conditions
1. Driving Experience Prices
All prices on Driveme.net are correct to the best of our knowledge. These prices are updated regularly and Driveme.net reserves the right to change any of our prices at any time. In the event of a customer ordering a driving experience which has as an incorrect price on the website we will endeavour to contact the customer and let them know within 7 days. We will offer the customer the chance to cancel their booking or pay the additional difference.
Driveme 50% off vouchers can be purchades at the venue, however these do not apply the the Paul Swift Experiences, or Nissan GTR Experiences
2. Descriptions
All driving experiences offered by Driveme.net have descriptions that are correct at time of print. These descriptions can be found on our website or for a more detailed description please call 0844 808 0808 during office hours.
3. Brochures and Images
All images and brochures used by Driveme.net are protected by copyright and must not be copied or used in whole or in part without the permission of Driveme.net. All images and brochures used for driving experiences are for illustration purposes and are used as an indication of the experience. Driveme.net reserves the right to change or remove images from the website at any time.
4. Availability of Driving Gift Vouchers
The vouchers sold at Driveme.net are open dated unless a date is booked at the same time of purchase. Our experiences are of such high demand that we advise you book your preferred date well in advance to try and avoid disappointment. Customers booking onto arrival times between 11am and 3pm will incur a supplement of £10. Please note that once the date is booked for your driving experience it cannot be changed unless cancellation insurance has been purchased subject to the terms of the cancellation insurance (see section 7).
5. Gift Voucher Delivery
Driveme.co.uk endeavours to send all gift packs out via first class post on the day of purchase, if purchased before 4pm. Please allow 3 to 5 working days for delivery. Driveme.net do also offer a next day delivery service for only £6.95 which means you don't have to worry about your gift being delayed in the post. You can choose your appropriate option at checkout.
6. Exchanging your Gift Voucher
Driveme.net offers a free 30 day exchange policy.
7. Refunds
We are only able to offer refunds when customers are legally entitled within 10 days of the purchase. After 10 days a credit note will be issued to the face value of the purchase. All refunds will incur a £25 or 25% administration charge (whichever is greater). All refunds are processed at month end and will be made to the person who purchased the voucher. Any insurance fees paid will be forfeited. Activated vouchers, booked experiences and special offers cannot be exchanged or refunded.
To request a refund the purchaser MUST return the voucher pack via recorded delivery to Driveme.net The Octagon, Parkway, Zone 2, Deeside Industrial Park, Deeside CH5 2NS, along with a covering letter detailing the reason for your refund request and contact details which include an email address and telephone number. Refund requests will not be dealt with over the telephone.
8. Validity
Gift vouchers that are valid for 10 months.
Voucher Validity is from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
The experience must be completed prior to the expiry date on the voucher.
Should the recipient be unable to utilise the voucher before the expiry date, then upon contacting Driveme.net prior to the expiry date on the voucher and paying an administration fee of £25 (if the activity has increased in price they will also need to pay the difference) the voucher will be extended for a further 3 months only and this applies to 10 month vouchers only.
Any voucher extensions are not in any way in relation to the original card purchase. Please note extended vouchers and Special Offer vouchers cannot be exchanged, extended or refunded. For replacement vouchers or name changes a £20 administration fee may apply. Expired vouchers are void.
9. Booking your Track Day
In order to book an experience using a voucher, please ensure that you follow all steps detailing in your gift pack. If you do not follow all instructions given then we will not be held liable for any costs incurred. Once a date is booked with Driveme.net you are bound by our terms and conditions and the event date cannot be changed or cancelled unless you have purchased cancellation insurance.
10. Cancellations
Cancellation insurance is a total cost of £25 and must be purchased at time of booking your experience. If you have already booked a date with Driveme.net and not purchased cancellation insurance then you forfeit your right to cancel. Driveme.net will credit you for the cost of the experience if you cancel for one of the following reasons:
- Death within the immediate family
- Breakdown on route to venue
- Serious illness of the voucher holder
Once you successfully cancelled your event for a reason noted above you can then arrange a new date for your experience. In order to cancel an experience for one of the above reasons you must provide relevant documentation.
11. Damage Waiver
When purchasing a driving experience from us there is an option of a damage waiver. The damage waiver can be purchased up until and on the day of the driving experience and costs £20. By paying the fee of £20 Driveme.net agree that you will not be liable for the first £1000 excess as a result of damage to any of the cars.
12. Restrictions
- Children attending the venue must be accompanied by an adult.
- Alcohol and drugs are strictly forbidden on the Driveme.net track.
- Any medical condition or disability must be disclosed to Driveme.net at time of booking.
Some experiences do have weight and height restrictions, if you are unsure if Driveme.net will be able to accommodate you please get in touch prior to booking.
Junior driving sessions will be based on 10 minutes in the car, or 6 laps.
For all adult driving experiences the customer must hold a full UK driving licence.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to make certain that you purchase an experience suitable for the proposed beneficiary and it is the responsibility of the recipient to double check that the restrictions are not prohibitive.
13. Spectators
Family and friends are welcome to come and watch at our venue. We do have a cafe on site available for refreshments.
14. Itinerary Changes and Problems during your Event
On the rare occasion that a car you’ve booked to drive is unavailable you will be offered to either, 1. Drive another car as a replacement for the car that’s unavailable, and complete the remainder of the experience, or 2. Complete the remainder of the experience and re-book to drive the car that’s unavailable at a later date.
If a problem occurs during your experience please bring it to the attention of either the Duty Manager or the Chief Instructor on the day, and they will endeavour to deal with the problem whilst you’re at the venue. If we receive a letter of complaint without us being given the opportunity to rectify the problem whilst you’re at the venue, no refund will be offered retrospectively.
15. Liability and Safety
Many of the driving experiences provided by Driveme.net may involve some personal risk and participants may be asked to sign a disclaimer before commencing their driving experience. At Driveme.net the driving instructor reserves the right to refuse any person from participating in a driving experience if they think it necessary. Driveme.net will not be liable for any cancellations or postponements of any experiences for reasons beyond our control, this includes weather related reasons, mechanical failure, location changes or otherwise.
